Making Time for God

Making Time For God
Grabbed a cup of warm Chai tea, after sweeping all the Oak leaves from the porch, sat down to drink it on the porch and start my day in scripture.
I was reading in Zephaniah 3:14-20 about how God rejoices over us when I heard a Strange noise coming from a white plastic bucket I have on my porch sitting by a plant......

I walked over to find the cutest little camouflaged frog stuck in that bucket staring up trying to jump out but coming no where near being successful to reach his goal of freedom. Filled with compassion I I had the perfect plan in mind for him (or her...no idea how to tell the difference or even caring)!

I am sure the little thing was scared as I carried the bucket it moved and rocked and the situation might have seemed like it was getting worst, from the frog's perspective yet all along I had a beautiful place I mind for him! A place many months ago I worked in the hot Summer sun digging up grass, laying a boarder, planting tiny plants that woold overy tI'm bring flowers.....then i spent months carrying water from my rain barrels to water each of them through the hot Summer.

Lo and behold (I'd been to busy during the rainy months to go look at the plants.....they had grown so much and flowers were bursting forth in full colors). After his photo shoot.....I pet Mr. Frog for a brief moment, which I seriously couldn't believe how much I enjoyed, then I carefully placed him in this small garden of paradise. It was moist, had shade, water from the spinklers will come often and bugs are plentiful.

Mr. Frog, in a few seconds, went from a hopeless situation of sure slow death by starvation to living in a carefully created garden paradise by the very hand who created that garden by the decision of the gardener....with a purpose in mind....to eat the bugs so the garden is even more beautiful than it could have been without Mr. Frog living there!

You might be in a bad situation right now from poor choices you made....however your life can be transformed completely quicker than you think!!

One last, very important fact you need to know that gave this frog it's happy ending.....something it did that made the difference in the ending of his story!!!!
Had the frog sat still and given up the fight for his freedom.......I would have never heard a strange noise coming from that white plastic bucket.....and had I not chose to spend that time with God in quiet reading......I would have never heard the struggle for life in my own backyard!!!

Do your part, keep trying and know there is indeed a plan for your life....and its a good one! Make some noise through your own personal efforts (I don't mean whining) and God will help do the rest.....He wants good for you...heck He created an amazing world for people filled with beauty and amazing creatures to enjoy!!

My reward was a gorgeous bouquet of beautiful flowers planted and tended to by my own hand blessed by God (all of which the tiny starter plants were given to me by 3 different neighbors who have become delightfully encouraging friends). That is the sweetest bMaking Time For God
